Montaj is looking to recruit a lead mobile engineer for their team. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a mobile video start-up poised to disrupt the video creation, editing and sharing space.
Senior Mobile Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to take ownership of the Montaj mobile platform (development is currently outsourced). You should be interested in joining an agile team on the ground floor. You must take great pride in solving difficult problems and function well in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll be the lead engineer, reporting directly to the CTO. The Montaj stack is Objective C client, Java Server, NoSQL database (MongoDB). There is room to grow quickly into a senior management role, with commensurate compensation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall software / application development, with demonstrated experience delivering high-quality applications in the mobile space
- Proven aptitude developing applications leveraging XML/JSON based RESTful/SOAP APIs
- Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects
- BS Computer Science

- A good “product” head on your shoulders, you can effectively interact with product managers and other organizational units such as QA and Operations
- You code for fun – have side projects you are passionate about
