Bombas is a fast-growing, profitable, comfort focused e-commerce apparel company with a mission to help those in need. Founded because socks are the number one most requested clothing item at homeless shelters, we donate a pair of socks to someone in need for every pair sold. Since launching in 2013 we have donated more than 3 million pairs of socks.

Bombas is looking for an effective, trustworthy, and action-oriented leader to make Bombas a well-known, much-loved apparel brand that customers can’t stop talking about. You’ll own the the end-to-end customer experience, combining the best of data-driven marketing with top-notch creative and storytelling. You’ll build a large, multi-function team and work closely with adjacent functions such as creative, brand, merchandising, business intelligence, and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand, consumer and product marketing for an online digital, retail or eCommerce business.

You will be responsible for creating and executing a holistic growth strategy through ownership of customer acquisition, retention/loyalty, customer support, customer insights, partnerships, PR, digital product and offline marketing (events/activations/pop-ups) functions and working closely with our Chief Brand Officer and Chief Creative Officer on brand and creative strategy.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Customer acquisition: Manage eight-figure media budget across online and offline channels to strict ROI targets, pulling levers on LTV and CPA; ensure that PR and partnerships are building brand awareness that we can capitalize on.
  • Customer retention and loyalty: Grow repeat revenue and loyalty through email (pre/post-purchase series, promotional calendar, etc.), excellent customer support, and other strategies
  • Digital product: Develop and oversee conversion rate optimization, upsell/merchandising, email capture, landing page, and referral strategies
  • Customer insights: Build comprehensive insights program including setting up processes for turning the insights into actions that directly drive growth
  • Offline Marketing: Develop a strategy to engage and acquire customers at community/in-person activations and future retail/wholesale opportunities
  • Build a best-in-class marketing team, through hiring and/or growing people internally
  • Collaborate with the C-Suite as the voice of the customer including providing counsel and input on product strategy, market strategy, and overall business strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; or any equivalent experiences that show deep curiosity and rapid learning capabilities
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant consumer/product marketing experience at a brand, digital or eCommerce company developing comprehensive marketing strategies in online, advertising, social or digital media space
  • Successful track record of building, managing and execution of marketing strategies for a digital media based, consumer-focused business
  • Experience building marketing teams and in particular growing and mentoring people to take on bigger challenges
  • Passionate thinker/executor who wants to build something big and has a sense of urgency coupled with the ability to be patient and let momentum develop
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to present data and conclusions in an organized, concise manner at all levels throughout the company and able to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • A top performer, with a proactive approach who has a “roll up your sleeves” mentality
